He is a pioneer in developing several quirurgical techniques in coloproctology and toracic malformations. He leads a research for the design of cutting-edge methodologies for new medical applications using new materials in the field of osteoarticular and tracheal regenerative medicine. He is the author of 49 publications and 5 patents.

She has been involved in several projects in the fields of 3D printing, compounding technology, nanoplastics and the extrussion process, all related to biomedicine. She has been responsible for the construction of AIMPLAS clean rooms.
